The City of Union City is proud to launch the Energy Smart Incentive Program, which provides free comprehensive energy audits and financial incentives and rebates to Union City businesses undertaking energy efficiency projects. The City is offering an additional rebate of up to $2,500 on qualifying projects to help local businesses achieve greater energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and save money on their energy bills.
The City encourages local businesses to participate as soon as possible in order to take advantage of the program, which will be administered on a first come first served basis.

| Energy Smart incentive Program Eligibility Requirements |
- To be eligible for incentives under this Program, Participant’s facility must receive electric and/or gas distribution service from PG&E. Participant must be a registered business in the City of Union City.
- Participant must be a PG&E customer who pays Public Purpose Fund charges.
- Participant must have a signed EBEW BEST Participation Agreement; including a signed EBEW BEST Project Proposal describing the Project and anticipated incentives available through the EBEW BEST program.
