William Cann Civic Center Park
34009 Alvarado-Niles Road

Restrooms: No Electricity: No

William Cann Civic Center Park is named in memory of Union City’s police chief who was shot and killed while attending a community meeting in 1974. The park includes the 18,000 square foot Union City Skate Park, City Hall, Union City Police Department administrative offices and the Union City Library.

Many visitors enjoy the park's large lagoon, which is home to numerous migratory birds. Walking paths and an exercise course circle the park located at the corner of Alvarado-Niles Road and Royal Ann Drive. Plenty of trees, spacious and beautifully maintained grass areas, tables, benches and barbeque grills makes this an ideal place for a picnic. For the little ones there's a playground.
