The Smith Street entrance to Old Alvarado Park is lined with rows of purple agapanthus. This park has numerous trees, plants, and other greenery.
The park is known for its large gazebo and is home to the Farmer's Market and Summer Concert Series in the Park. The gazebo stands in center of the park and has been used for special events and weddings. A delicate small fence encloses the park.
