Feel Secure About Your Kids Being in the Water This Summer Tri-City Splashtastic Water Safety Day is on Saturday, May 26 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. This FREE event will be held at the Dan Oden Swim Complex at James Logan High School. Learn How to Swim with UCLS This Summer UCLS will be offering lessons and classes for all ages this summer at the Dan Oden Swim Complex located at James Logan High School.  The summer session starts on Monday, June 25 and runs for eight weeks until August 18.  More Info About Summer Swim Program

Did you know that Union City Leisure Services (UCLS) offers one of the largest aquatics programs in Southern Alameda County?

The UCLS Aquatics units offers a wide variety of Red Cross certificated classes during the spring, summer and fall. Learn to swim levels 1-5, tiny tots, lap swimming, stroke clinics, private lessons and water exercise classes are offered all sessions. Special summer programs include water polo, scuba diving courses, Junior Lifeguard and a variety of special events.

Classes are offered during the weekdays, weeknights and Saturday in order to accommodate a variety of patron schedules. The Aquatics unit is always looking for dedicated staff. Several Lifeguard Training classes are offered this spirng for those who are interested.
