  Summary: The data table and chart below provide historical comparisons with other cities in Alameda County as it pertains to sales tax revenues and sales tax revenues per capita.  Union City is near the bottom third of the list when it comes to sales tax revenues in fiscal year (FY) 2006-07 and near the bottom of the list when it comes to sales tax revenues per capita in FY 2006-07.  This means that Union City has less sales tax dollars to work with per capita than most other cities in Alameda County.
