The City of Union City owns a 71,440 sq. ft. property on Mission Boulevard and is seeking a high quality multi-family residential builder to develop the City-owned property.
Builders are asked to state in a Letter of Interest the type of development that makes market-sense for your company to invest in Union City.
Current zoning is Private Institutional and Community Commercial, which provides for a mixed-use product with a minimum 25 units per acre density and allows up to 30 units per acre.
Union City staff will work with developer to expedite entitlement process. Union City’s interest is to generate new property taxes.
Subject property is close to schools, parks, BART, and shopping.
