How You Can Join the HRC

The City of Union City and the Human Relations Commission encourage people to become involved in their local community.

One way to do that is to serve in an advisory capacity on one of the City's various commissions. Commission members serve 4-year terms. When positions become available they are announced on this website and on Union City government access Cable Channel 15.

To be a qualified applicant for a commission opening, you must be a resident of Union City, 18 years of age or older and a registered voter.

How to Apply

To apply for an opening on the Human Relations Commission, click on HRC Application. Complete the form on your computer, or fill in by hand, and then mail or return to the City Clerk's office.

The City Clerk's office is open Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. City Hall is closed every other Friday.
